POTTY TRAINING YOUR LITTLE ONE

I started to make him wear his briefs, since it's new to him, he pees first before he tells me but eventually he learned he is not suppose to. I wasn't too patient in training him before but he'll be going to school soon so I though I have to step up with this potty thing. I tried waiting for him to pee while he is sitting on his potty but he never goes, even if I bribe him.

DAY 1 (officially)
Since he didn't like the potty that much I tried letting him stand on the shower. He still would not go but when I put his diaper on, he pees.

DAY 2 (today)
As soon as we came back from the grocery, I switched back his diaper to his brief. When he really needs to go, he would get his diaper and would ask me to help him put it on. So as soon as he did that, we headed straight to the bathroom. While he was standing, I have the diaper just between his legs, when he's about to pee, I took off the diaper and ask him to go without the diaper, it took a while but he did! I can't believe that it was quite successful since it was just the second day of potty training. I never really believed those blogs I've read about potty training in 5 days or even 3 days. Though he didn't pee all the way I was still amazed that he did it. I think it is a start

*UPDATED*
DAY 3 (the next day)
So the food bribes didn't work, but I caught the thing he likes... play with the faucet! I told him he can play with the water from the faucet but he has to pee first and guess what? It worked!!! There were a couple of intervals but he did more compared from yesterday. He has to feel comfortable letting it go, don't forget to cheer or praise him but don't get too excited that you might scare him :) at least in my case, I think I scared him a little on our second day when I cheered a bit louder than usual, I was just so happy.
