Best to come here during the weekdays since the hours are longer compared to weekends and cheaper too!
To maximize your stay 9:00 am - 4:00 pm (weekdays) be sure to be there before 9am to get tickets in case you haven't purchased online. We have no experience booking online so I don't exactly know how it goes but pretty sure it's more convenient.
Upon getting your tickets, kids are given a check
50 kidZos worth to start every time they visit Kidzania, not just for first timers.
For first timers, best to purchase the Kidzania Pazzport before visiting the establishments, as you'll have the advantage of paying less and earning more during the job (This costs Php 250). Next stop would be the bank and encash the check you received. If I'm not mistaken opening an account starts at 11am, and requires a minimum deposit of 20 kidZos.
For each establishments, you can check the information beside the entrance door, Census plaques as they call it. It describes the work the children will be doing, how long the activity is, maximum number of children that can join each cycle and if they are either going to pay or earn. For example, if you see +10 Kidzos, that means they will be earning from that job, and if they have pazzports, 2 kidzos are added to their "salary". If you see -10 Kidzos that means they will be paying for that job, usually these are the establishments where they make something they can take home like Yellow Cab (Pizza), Goldilocks (Mamon), Cream-O (Cookies), Coke (Mismo bottle), Jack n Jill (chips), etc. and also where they can learn from experience like the Aviation school and Fire Department. Oh! just an FYI, I remembered during one of our visits, he repeated the ice cream factory, they told us he can still participate but only one ice cream is allowed per child, I'm not so sure how it is with other establishments.
There are couple of food stores to choose from for lunch. But I wouldn't suggest to bring tons of snacks, (which I did, because he is constantly hungry hahaha!) Since there are establishments that make edible food, they can also eat/drink whatever food/beverage they made, he wasn't able to eat any of the snacks I brought. This suggestion by the way is only applicable for a single child, I cannot speak for parents who have more than 2 children :D
Before leaving, make sure to stop by Pikz Station. There are packages available and a pazzport holder has a discount. Plus you can also download all the pictures purchased online, great for uploading. The digital copy of the picture is available for 30 days from the date of purchase.
The day goes by pretty fast, although parents or guardians are not allowed to enter the establishments, I enjoyed seeing him do things all by himself.
For more information about KidZania, visit their site.
As a bonus for the trip, we usually schedule our visit the same day Lego Store has their monthly mini build. No purchase required, kids can build small legos for free and take it home, check their instagram @legostoreph. They vary every month, hedgehog for example, for this month of June.
