WRITING ACTIVITIES

We just started practicing last September and these exercises really helped him how to write. Good thing his Lala gave him this board with non-permanent marker to practice on. The board has letters, numbers and shapes. There are broken lines to trace too, great for kids who are just starting to learn how to write.

After a while, we started writing on papers and using pencils instead of markers. He traces the letters which I used highlighters and also connected the dots.

When we were browsing in the bookstore, we saw this practice workbook for small letters. I prefer this kind of workbook rather than practicing with an erasable marker because I get to put the date and see his progress.

I made him practice with these sheets I made before letting him write on the workbook since it is limited to only two pages per letter. I thought it would be a waste if he'll just doodle on it.

When he already knew how to write the letters, we started writing his name and we still practice up to now.
